At KLCC our aim is to get as many people cycling with us as possible. The committee and ride leaders are all volunteers but we do have several basic costs to cover:
- British Cycling affiliation – this gives KLCC the liability insurance to over the club and club officials against claims from third parties if an incident happens during a club activity.
- Website.
- Bank charges – the bank now charges for out charity account.
- Annual general meeting.
For 2024 subscriptions will be £10 (+£1 British Cycling admin fee).
You will need to register with British Cycling to join KLCC. The KLCC affiliation covers the club – individual club member are not insured unless they are individual members of British Cycling or have a separate personal liability insurance cover. See https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/clubinsurance
